Longtime Ballard High School boys basketball head coach Chris Renner was honored by the school on Friday night prior to the team's game against Eastern.Renner was not only recognized on the court, but a banner recognizing his accomplishments was also placed on the wall in the gym."I'm humbled and I'm grateful for the opportunity, the honor," Renner said. "It's not something I went into coaching to do. I wish that that banner could have every player's name, every assistant coach, every manager's name on that because that's what it was." Renner retired after last season. He won a state championship and captured nine regional titles during his 24 years at the school.
