Bardstown holds groundbreaking ceremony for new aquatic and sports center
Bardstown is set to welcome a new indoor aquatic and sports center that promises to transform the region into a year-round destination for families and athletes.
The groundbreaking ceremony, celebrated with enthusiastic applause and community support, kicked off the construction of the 80,000-square-foot facility near Jones Avenue Park.
Mayor Dick Heaton noted their gratitude for the supporters and hard work that have gone into the project, which has been attempted three times since its initial proposal.

"I didn't know it was going to even exist before my time, before I go. I'm 75," she shared. For her, the facility means leaving a legacy for future generations to enjoy.
The center will feature an indoor pool, a walking track, and various recreational spaces designed to foster connections and encourage healthy lifestyles.
Alex Brockman shared, "It's great to have more opportunities we didn맥스카지노t have before. Yeah, I think it맥스카지노s a great thing to have something new to look forward to, but also something that will help us."
