"That it took this to even have somebody look into this department."Watch the full press conference below:One of the things U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland discussed from the findings was the search warrant issued for Breonna Taylor's apartment. Garland, in essence, said that the warrant should have never been issued and the officers involved knew the warrant contained "false and misleading information.""Heartbreak all over again, because I knew that to begin with," Palmer said about the search warrant. "We asked that question a hundred times over and over, for no one to give you a direct answer."Standing beside her lawyer, Palmer said that the new policies and procedures that came from Taylor's death still need to be put into action."It'll just keep repeating itself," Palmer said. These findings also come five days before the three-year anniversary of Taylor's death. "To know that this thing should have never happened, and it took three years for anybody else to say that it shouldn't have happened," she said. The report comes seven months after four LMPD officers were federally charged in connection to the deadly raid involving Taylor. To read the full 86-page report, click here.
