These nerve cells are associated with thinking, planning and complex behavior.Canines have more neurons in their cerebral cortices than cats, with about 530 million, compared to about 250 million in cats. The human brain contains about 16 billion.The study also said dogs' brains contain more neurons than hyenas, lions and some bears.
