An NCAA champion is transferring to Kentucky to play for Mark Pope and the Wildcats next season.Florida guard Denzel Aberdeen announced his commitment to Kentucky on Monday.Aberdeen scored the last point of Florida's national championship over Houston this year.The rising senior, who spent three years at Florida, averaged 7.7 points per game last season, while shooting 35% from three and 42% from the field.Aberdeen is the fifth transfer coming to UK next season, joining Kam Williams, Jaland Lowe, Mouhamed Dioubate, and Jayden Quaintance. The Wildcats also have top-rated incoming freshman Malachi Moreno and Jasper Johnson joining the roster.Brandon Garrison, Colin Chandler, and Trent Noah have all announced they are coming back for a second season with Kentucky, while Otega Oweh declared for the NBA Draft.
