Four men have been taken into custody during an investigation into an LMPD officer's shooting.
Jemond Groves Jr., Quantez Porter, Dominique Thompson and Jacquan Ransom are charged with various crimes but none for the actual shooting.
The shooting happened around 2:30 a.m. Thursday in the 4000 block of Kentucky Street. An officer was making a traffic stop when police said they were shot from a nearby home.
LMPD said that the officer who was shot was Brandon Haley, who has been with the department since 2021.
The other officer who was with him on the scene was Colin Billotto, but LMPD said the two are both solo officers.
