Louisville basketball's James Scott enters transfer portal just before deadline
Just before deadline, one of Louisville's most memorable players from this season entered the transfer portal.
The portal closed Tuesday night. He entered just before the cut off.
The 6-foot-11 forward started 31 of 35 games for UofL this season under new head coach Pat Kelsey, who he followed from Charleston. Scott was a dunk machine with 80 in a season.
Besides his memorable performance, he also had a memorable look.
Scott suffered a facial fracture in February that required him to wear a mask for the rest of the season and got a lot of social media attention for comparisons to Bane from Batman movie.

He led Louisville in blocks with 30, ranked second on the team in rebounding behind only J'Vonne Hadley and even racked up the fourth-most assists on the team.
In Louisville's final game of the season against Creighton in the first round of the NCAA tournament, Scott was held scoreless in fifteen minutes of action.
