Louisville gas station worker recounts giving CPR to man who fell 20 feet into creek
After seeing our coverage of a rescue behind a Louisville gas station, the mystery man who jumped in to help reached out to 비바카지노 Viva, wanting to share his side of the story.
It turns out he맥스카지노s a gas station employee who had only been on the job a few weeks, but on Tuesday night, instinct kicked in.
맥스카지노I didn맥스카지노t really know I saved him until I actually watched the news,맥스카지노 said Aaron Biddix.
Biddix was wrapping up his shift at the Speedway on Westport Road when his manager called for help.
맥스카지노I get down and I'm like, what am I looking for? There's nobody out and about. There's no fights going on. There's nothing like so what's... what's the deal? She was, like, down by the creek,맥스카지노 he said.
When he looked over, he saw that a man had fallen nearly 20 feet below into a shallow creek. Without hesitation, Aaron made his way over the edge.
맥스카지노The only way down was to drop. So I just turned around, grabbed the ledge, let my feet down and dropped,맥스카지노 Biddix said.
Down in the dark, he found the man unconscious.
맥스카지노There맥스카지노s a little slab where the tunnels intersect. I thought, if he stops breathing, I can do CPR. Then he stopped breathing and I just started," Biddix said.
Biddix said it didn맥스카지노t feel heroic.
맥스카지노I really just felt like I was in the way, you know? Just some dude jumping in a creek doing CPR,맥스카지노 he said
But firefighters say his actions helped keep the man alive long enough for EMS to step in.
맥스카지노I맥스카지노m glad that it helped out, but I honestly had no idea until I saw that I was helping out," Biddix said.
