What's a kid to do with two unexpected days off of school?
JCPS students are off Thursday and Friday as the district works to sort out massive bus issues it experienced on the first day of school.
Hours after that decision was made, the announced they will have discounted tickets on those days.
Zoo officials said tickets will be $3 off for Thursday and Friday.
The tickets can be purchased in person at the admission window.
The will have free admission for JCPS students and one adult per child on those two days.
They ask people bring their JCPS IDs or show which school you attend to staff.
The Frazier History Museum is offering free admission to all JCPS students on Friday. Students just have to tell guest services which school they go to when they arrive.
There is a limit of three students per one paying parent, officials said.
Louisville Slugger Museum will be offering free admission to JCPS students on Monday and Tuesday as the school district deals with bus issues.
JCPS' superintendent gave an update on Friday and said he hopes to resume school mid next week.
The museum is offering two free student ticker per adult. Adults will have to show their ID with an address within Jefferson County when they arrive to the museum.
